Villa Azul Riviera is a very spacious and unique villa offering some very special features. It’s located on the Yalku lagoon, which is like an enormous outdoor aquarium – absolutely gorgeous view! You can jump right into the lagoon from your back yard which gives you exclusive access privileges that only a few villas located directly on the lagoon are lucky to have. You’ll want to spend hours snorkeling and swimming in the beautiful pools of water which are filled with multicolored fish. You can spend all of your time in the lagoon or follow along as the water connects to the ocean. After your swim you can enjoy basking in the sun at your own private "beach" area by the lagoon or, if in need of shade, relax under the palapa on the shore of the lagoon, which has chairs and hammocks.
Villa Azul Riviera is one of the largest houses in Akumal. The living- and dining room area is huge with a beautiful cathedral ceiling and the kitchen is large and fully equipped. There is a immense outdoor palapa for entertaining with a wet bar, tables and chairs. There is also a fabulous third floor observatory for a panoramic view of the jungle, ocean, lagoon and Akumal.
