| This vacation rental home is located in Akumal 65 miles south of Cancun in the heart of the Mexican Mayan Riviera. It boasts a beautiful main beach and is an excellent location for snorkeling. Akumal is as its name says in Mayan the "place of turtle"! During the whole year you can see many turtles while snorkeling in the Main Bay and Half Moon Bay. Akumal is also very popular for divers. There are two great dive shops on the Main Bay and one on Half Moon Bay that offer professional services with plenty of activities. Following the road you will get to the next bay which is called Half Moon Bay, just a couple minutes driving by car. And at the end of the bay you will arrive to Yalku Lagoon, another great spot for snorkeling and swimming.

The rental home has a nice private swimming pool and large terraces with ocean views. The downstairs has 2 bedrooms with king-size beds and private bathrooms (both with showers and one with a tub also), dining room and large living room with a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea.
The upstairs of this Akumal vacation rental home has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, sitting area with sofa bed and a private bathroom with shower. The upstairs guest bedroom has a double-size bed, a single bed and private bathroom with shower. All the bedrooms in the villa have a view of the ocean, are air conditioned and have private balconies.
The views to the aquamarine Caribbean Sea from Hacienda las Cascadas are breathtaking! The roof is a terrific spot to view the stars at night. There is a great built-in couch and table for your rooftop comfort.
