| This vacation rental home is located in Akumal 65 miles south of Cancun in the heart of the Mexican Mayan Riviera. It boasts a beautiful main beach and is an excellent location for snorkeling. Akumal is as its name says in Mayan the "place of turtle"! During the whole year you can see many turtles while snorkeling in the Main Bay and Half Moon Bay. Further south of Akumal (approximately 1.5 miles) you will get to Jade Bay. Jade Bay has a direct access from the high way. Very quiet and private bay with a few vacation rental homes and one restaurant located at Las Villas Akumal that offers service to the public (the only condo complex in Jade bay). Akumal is also very popular for divers. There are two great dive shops on the Main Bay and one on Half Moon Bay that offer professional services with plenty of activities. If you wish to spend your vacation on a quiet and private beach, Jade Beach is perfect for you. The house has four bedrooms of equal size, each one with it's own bathroom and fabulous view to the Mexican Caribbean. Three of the four bedrooms have king-size beds and the fourth has a queen and a twin bed. A nice covered terrace with hammocks invites relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view to the Caribbean. Two steps from your house you are on a beautiful beach where you can choose between the ocean and the swimming pool for refreshing. The snorkeling in Jade Bay is excellent. A lot of corals and fishes invite you to discover the beautiful underwater world. Casa Palmeras is nice furnished, has a fully equipped kitchen, where you can prepare you own meals or you have also the choice to hire a cook, which will prepare for you the most delicious and traditional menus of Mexico/Yucatan.
