Akumal Watersports
Akumal offers a variety of water sports for everybody. Akumal Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area and excellent for Snorkeling in the calm protected bay. The Akumal Dive Center and Akumal Dive Shop both provide professional service for Fishing trips, SCUBA Diving, Cenote Diving, and Catamaran Tours. |

Groceries in Akumal
We have two small, but very good, grocery stores in Akumal called "Super El Chomak" and "El Pueblito". They are open daily from 7am to 9pm. You can get everything you need, including soft drinks, liquors, dairy products and everything to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Akumal Farmer's Market
Fresh vegetables and fruits are sold in the center of Akumal at the 'Cancha' next to the arch. Every Wednesday and Saturday from 9am-5pm |

Akumal offers 4 different boutiques selling traditional Mexican handicrafts, cloths and souvenirs. |

Akumal Peak's Gym
Located at the entrance (arch) of Akumal on the left side (Plaza Ukana). Peak's Gym is wonderful for those who don't like to miss out on their daily workouts.
Equipment: machines by MedX, a complete free weight system including a cable crossover, and 3 stationary bikes. Open Monday - Saturday: 8am - 1pm and 4pm - 7pm. |

Spa Buddha Gardens
Allow yourself to be pampered at the Buddha Garden SPA! Its located directly on the sandy beach in Akumal Main Bay next to the swimming pool at the Hotel Club Akumal Caribe. Akumal Internet Café
There is an Internet Café located right next to Lol-Ha restaurant on the beach side. Its open from Monday - Saturday from 9am - 5pm. It is to mention, that most vacation rental villas and condos do provide FREE Internet Service in Akumal. |

Akumal Laundry Service
Laundry can be taken to Mulgrew's Laundromat located right next to the Grocery Store 'El Pueblito'. There is same day service available if you get your laundry in before 9am. |

Akumal Money Exchange
There is a money exchange at TSA next to the Akumal Dive Shop. It is open from Monday-Friday from 8am-12pm and 2pm-5pm. Saturdays from 8am-12pm. There is also an ATM machine in the grocery store Chomak. |

Golf Cart and Bicycle Rentals
Golf Carts and Bicycles are for rent at the Boutique Mexicarte next to the white arch where the reception of Hotel Club Akumal Caribe is located. They can be rented at a daily or weekly basis. |

Akumal Kids Club
The Kids Club in Akumal is located on the beach on Akumal Bay next to the Lol-Ha Restaurant and Palapa Beach Bar. Supervised play, crafts and videos.
Lots of fun for the kids and a chance for Mom and Dad to enjoy an ocean dive or simply have a delicious dinner alone at Lol-Ha Restaurant.
The Kids Club is open daily from: 9am - 2pm and 6pm - 9pm. |

 Turtle Protection Program
The Centro Ecologico Akumal has a great Turtle protection program every year. During the sea turtle egg laying season (May - October), they have nightly walks on the beach to look for nesting females. Their turtle team tags, measures, counts eggs, and marks the nest. This team is comprised of volunteers from all over the world who have been trained by their turtle biologist. Everybody is welcome to join them on their nightly walks. They have a limit of 10 people per night and you may make your reservations when you arrive in Akumal. They ask for a small donation per person.

Post Office
The Akumal Post Office is located in the CEA Center, right at the entrance on the left side. They are open for services on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:30-9:30 for mail delivery, and 9:30-15:00 in the Post Office. |
